We launched in 2026 with a simple idea: talking about technology should be informative, approachable and, why not, fun. Whether you follow every product launch or simply want to understand how technology fits into your life, you’re welcome here. No technical background required — just curiosity.
There’s always a new device, a new AI tool or another promise about the future. But what does it actually do? Who might find it useful? And what should you know before getting excited — or spending your money?
Those are the questions we want to explore with you. Through our blog and YouTube channel, we’ll cover the news, explain emerging ideas and connect technology to everyday situations. Sometimes that means a quick introduction. Other times, it means taking a closer look beyond the headline.
Curiosity, context and a healthy dose of skepticism
We enjoy an exciting announcement as much as anyone. But excitement shouldn’t replace evidence.
Our editorial approach is straightforward: research carefully, explain clearly and bring context without sensationalism. We’ll distinguish what companies claim from what has been independently verified, and our own analysis from established facts. If we haven’t tested a product, we’ll say so. If something remains uncertain, we won’t fill the gap with a guess.
And when we get something wrong, we’ll correct it. Trust isn’t something we can announce at launch — it’s something we have to earn over time.
How AI fits into OTN
AI is part of how we build this project. We use it to support research, develop drafts and scripts, create visual materials and organize production.
We believe in being open about that involvement. AI can help us work, but it doesn’t remove the need to check sources, question an answer or review what we publish. Editorial decisions and responsibility remain with us.
Our goal is to use these tools thoughtfully — not to pass generated material off as firsthand reporting, or an illustration as evidence of something that happened.
